I sat there, being loved and worshiped for a while, but the I kept moving. I brought a sitar, a python, and a sword with me into the desert.
That's when I saw him. My brother was back, didn't seem in the mood to communicate. His face had a huge scar down it, one eye was missing, and he walked with a limp. Then he started running towards me, face contorted with rage. He took out a sword from his belt, and raised it. I sidestepped, sticking my leg out. He fell spectacularly, face getting stuck in the sand. I walked up to him and pulled him up to his feet.
"This is silly brother," I said, "why do you always insist on fighting?" He swung his sword and I dodged again. He hit me with the side of his blade, and for a moment I saw many different colors, as if the world was a kaleidoscope. He offered me a hand, and I took it. Then I felt as tho someone had reached into me and grabbed my heart.
I looked down and saw his blade.
He had stabbed me. He had really done it. I could taste blood in my mouth, like salt water it didn't taste right.
Then I was looking down at the seen. He was smiling. I floated up and up, but my body was still there. Now he was trying to take the sword out, but he couldn't do it. NO! I said to myself, I will not die like this! And then, as if the universe had been listening, I was back on earth.
I grabbed his sword and pulled it from my body. I screamed Casandra's name as loud as I could, and I lobbed off his god-awful head! Then I passed out.
I woke up in the Time Travelers Inc. hospital with Casandra's face looming over me. I could hear, but it sounded like there was a pillow over my ears. There was a faint smell of lemony disinfection in the air. Then, clear as day I heard a long, flat beeping sound. All went dark.
